Updated the ACN Import filter to accomodate report format changes.
Oct 15, 1999
Updated Import Filters. You can now import your genealogy directly from AIM, AmeriPlan USA, Life Plus, Mannatech (US and Australia), and New Image.
Sept 08, 1999
Updated the ACN Import filter again to accomodate report format changes, and updated the Morinda import filter to accomodate changes to their file format.
July 21, 1999
We have added a USANA genealogy converter and import filter, as well as updating the ACN converter and import filter to their new file format.
Updated Life Plus Genealogies
March 15, 1999
Life Plus is now making two different genealogies available to their distributors. A "Daily", and a "Monthly" genealogy. These two genealogies are NOT compatible with each other.
When you receive your genealogy from Life Plus, you will get one genealogy file, and two import filters. Be sure to copy these two filters (*.imp) to your c:\mlmpro3\ folder, as these filters will be updated as the genealogy formats are modified.
Unless you specifically request a "Monthly" report, you will be receiving the "Daily" report. This is the standard report generated.
Create a NEW Organization, and call it "LP Daily" (or something like that). Import the file you received using the "Life Plus Daily" Import Filter. This genealogy can be updated with subsiquent genealogies that you receive.
If you specifically request a "Monthly" report, create a NEW organization called "LP Monthly", and import the file to it using the "Life Plus Monthly" import Filter. This genealogy can also be updated with future Monthly reports.
It is NOT recommended that you import a Daily report into an existing Monthly Genealogy, or the other way around, as they each contain different information.
Which is better for you? It depends on your personal tastes... Both will contain your entire genealogy, Names, addresses, and phone numbers of everyone in your downline. Both contain PV information, but I believe that the daily PV will be up to that date in the month. The Monthly includes GV information. But MLMPro can calculate GV information by adding PVs in a leg. Contact Life Plus directly to find the advantages of each different report format.
I hope this helps to ease some of the confusion on the new files.
v3.16 February 26/99
Nothing huge in this one. Updated the Life Plus Import Filter, and fixed some code in the Import Routine that had problems when importing ACN genealogies.
v1.1 February 24/99
ACN has done it again. They have changed the format of their genealogy reports making the older import filter useless.
The updated version of the Converter has an updated .ini file to correctly convert the new ACN files, and an updated import filter.
Note: With these updated files, you will be able to convert and import the NEW genealogies, but will NOT be able to convert or Import older genealogies.
v1.1 January 02/99
ACN has done it again. They have changed the format of their genealogy reports making the older converter and import filter useless.
The updated version of the Converter has an updated .ini file to correctly convert the new ACN files, and an updated import filter.
Note: With these updated files, you will be able to convert and import the NEW genealogies, but will NOT be able to convert or Import older genealogies.
v1.1 December 07/98
We tracked down some inconsistencies in both the ACN and Morinda genealogies which caused some distributors to be missed by the conversion utility.
All known eventualities are now accounted for, and as far as we are aware, the conversion utility will accurately convert all ACN and Morinda Genealogies for import to MLMPro*.
In order to serve our customers better, we have created the Genealogy Converter that will convert certain Company Provided Genealogies that do not comply with the MLMPro* Import Format so that they CAN be imported to MLMPro*.
Currently we are able to convert the ACN and Morinda Genealogies to be imported to MLMPro*.
If your comapny is providing you with a genealogy on Disk, or over the Internet, let us know, and we'll see if it is a candidate for conversion.
v3.15 November 6/98
Year 2000 Compliant
Our calendar now takes into account the turn of the millenium. Wherever a two digit date appears in the program, it will now be assumed that numbers below sixty will belong to the new millenium. (i.e. "60" will still refer to 1960, but "59" will will refer to the year 2059.)
Search by Zip Code
Some users have found the zip code to be a useful criterion for dividing contacts into groups based on geographic location. You can now find all the contacts whose zip codes begin with a certain set of digits. This feature can be very useful if you have contacts within a large number of small municipalities, but which are also part of a very large state. Searching on a city might return a group too small to be useful, while a group based on the contacts' state would be far too large. A search based of the first few digits of the contacts' zip code could well yield a more workable result.
Organizations Tab Changed
In earlier versions of the program, contacts could be added to an organization via the Organizations tab on the Contact Page. This method of updating the tree has been deprecated in favor of the entirely less complicated method of dragging and dropping from the contact list to the Tree Page. The Organizations tab will still allow you to see which organizations the selected contact belongs to, but has become "read only" to avoid accidental misplacement of contacts in the tree.
Ameriplan USA Import Filter
If you are a distributor with Ameriplan USA, you will be happy to know that your company is now supporting you with importable genealogy reports. That's right, you can view your organization in MLMPro* without doing any data entry, and you can update your tree automatically whenever Ameriplan does!
"NameToUse" Problem Fixed
Some of you have found the word "NameToUse" appearing in your contact list for no reason. This problem has been fixed.
Would you like to have a hand in the future of MLMPro*? We're looking for suggestions on how to improve our program, our service, and our website. To show our appreciation for your input, we've collected a number of money-making and informational reports for you to download once the survey is completed.
v3.14 August 19/98
Information Interface
This stunning new feature gives you the ability to download and view information from the Internet. Companies and distributors alike can post updated product lists, meeting times, marketing tips-of-the week, or any other useful information to their websites for downloading. The information interface will retrieve this up-to-date information on command, allowing our users to view the web information on their own computers, without needing to be connected to the Internet.
Improved Tree Search
You may now search for a node by Rank. Also, you may have your search results displayed in the tree as a different color by clicking the new "Show All" button in the Tree Search window. To return the tree to its normal appearance after a search, click the "Show Ranks" button.
August 10/98
For those of our customers who are importing genealogies from Life Plus, be sure to download the latest filter. Life Plus has made more information available in their genealogy reports, so the old filter may not be used! Trying to do so will crash the program.
Click on the link above to download the new filter. If clicking on the link loads the file into your browser window instead of downloading the file, click on the link using the right button on your mouse. A menu will appear from which you should select "Save Link As
" (Netscape) or "Save Target As
" (Internet Exporer). Other browsers should have similar options.
Once downloaded, move the file "lifeplus.imp" into the same directory as your "mlmpro.exe". (Most likely, this directory will be called "MLMPro 3", but you may have installed the program to a different directory.) A message will pop up to tell you that the file already exists, and will ask you if you want to replace it. Click "Yes". From this point on, you will be using the new import filter.
Note: We have updated the current version of MLMPro* to include this new import filter. Since no real change has been made to the program, we are still calling it "v3.12".
v3.13 July 21/98
Problem with Deleting Fixed
Those of you who installed version 3.12 may have noticed that deleted contacts, contact groups, etc. are still showing up in their respective lists. Obviously, this is not what you want! Download and install the new version immediately to set things right again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Link to Manual from Help Menu
You can now bring up the printable manual by selecting "Manual" from the Help Menu.
A menu will appear from which you should select "Save Link As

v3.12 July 3/98
Repair Database
We have enhanced the capabilities of the Repair Database utility, which can be found via the File menu. It will now detect and correct more errors, and creates a log file listing any changes it made to the database. This log, once created, will exist in your Data directory.
Updated Templates
As usual, there are more company templates included.
Click on the link above to download an Italian translation of the manual, generously provided by one of our users. When you unzip this file to your MLMPro* folder, the new Italian version will overwrite your English manual. If you want to keep your English version, it is recommended to unzip this to an alternate folder. Note that since this and any other translations we make available can not be checked by us, we make no guarantee as to the accuracy or appropriateness of their content.

Calculate - Depth
Select this option from the right-click menu of the Tree Page, or from the menu that pops up when you click the "123..." Button, to find out the depth (relative to the root) of the currently selected node.
Jump to Root Node
We added the Jump to Root Node action to the right-click menu of the Tree Page. Now you can get back to yourself in the tree by right-clicking anywhere on the page and selecting this item.

We fixed a problem with contact reports only using 2/3 of the page.
