New Genealogy Converter Updated to v1.1 Apr 26, 2002 If you are a distributor with ACN, Morinda or USANA, you will be happy to know that you can now import your genealogies into MLMPro*. We have created a Genealogy Converter that will convert the genealogies that you receive from your companies to MLMPro* format. Note: Because these companies are NOT providing MLMPro* Compatible Genealogies, you will have to take an extra step to convert them using this utility, but at least you can now get your downlines into MLMPro*. Note: If the company changes their export format, this converter will no longer work correctly. If you try to do a conversion, and it doesn't work correctly, please notify us immediately, so that we can see if the company has changed their file format, and make any required modifications to the converter. Another Note: The Converter is a 32 Bit Program. This means that your MUST be running Win 95, 98, or NT in order to use it. How To Install the Converter: The converter has some additional files with it that MUST be installed in your MLMPro* folder. The first thing that you should do, is determine where exactly you have MLMPro* installed on your computer (probably "c:\mlmpro3\"). Click on the link to download the mlmconv.exe. This is a self extracting archive that contains the converter, as well as a few other support files. Save this mlmconv.exe anywhere on your hard drive. Once the download is complete, you will need to locate the mlmconv.exe that you just downloaded, and run it (by double clicking on it) from within Windows Explorer. This will ask where you want to extract to... The default location is "c:\mlmpro3\" which is probably where you installed MLMPro* to. Once you have installed the converter, you can safely delete the mlmconv.exe file that you downloaded. How To Run the Converter: Any time that you want to run the converter, just locate your MLMPro* folder in Windows Explorer, and Double Click on the "Converter.exe". The converter contains detailed instructions on what you need to do in order to get your genealogies, and how to convert them. BE SURE to read and follow the instructions precisely, or the conversion may not work correctly. If your company is not yet included, and they are providing Online Genealogies, let us know, and we'll see if the genealogies that they are providing are candidates for conversion.

Updated Import Filters We've Updated our Genealogy Import Filters again. MLMPro can now Import Genealogies from... AIM, AmeriPlan USA, Life Plus, Mannatech (US and Australia), and New Image. If you are a distributor with any of these companies, it is easy to import your entire genealogy directly into MLMPro.

New! Italian Version of the MLMPro* Manual Click on the link above to download an Italian translation of the manual, generously provided by one of our users. When you unzip this file to your MLMPro* folder, the new Italian version will overwrite your English manual. If you want to keep your English version, it is recommended to unzip this to an alternate folder. Note that since this and any other translations we make available can not be checked by us, we make no guarantee as to the accuracy or appropriateness of their content.

How to Download

As you are aware, your computer has many different directories, or "folders", that files can be kept in. When you click on a link that is supposed to let you download a file, you will probably be given the option to open the file or to save it. You want to save it, so make sure you select that option.

A small window will pop up, asking you where you want to save the file. Be sure to remember which directory you saved the file in! It is actually a good idea to create a special directory just for downloaded files.

Unzipping the Files

A zip file is just like that. Once the files have been packed up, or "zipped", you won't be able to use them until you "unzip" them, but they end up being a lot smaller and easier to move.

All of the files on our site have been zipped for faster transfer, so be sure to have a zip utility ready on your machine. Once you have downloaded a zip file, use your zip utility to extract the files you want.

Your zip utility should provide you with simple instructions on how to extract the zipped files to a directory of your choice. (Note that we can not supply technical support for third party software, like zip utilities. If you have a problem unzipping anything you download, please contact the company that made the zip utility, for instructions or technical support.)
